Bid packages will be available on February 22, 2005 for the middle school and elementary school. The high school documents will be released on March 10, 2005. Bid Openings The bid opening for the MES and MMS projects will be held on March 17, 2005 in the MHS Media Center beginning at 3:30PM. The bid opening for MHS will be held on April 4, 2005 in the MHS Media Center beginning at 3:30 PM. Bid Awards by BOE The Board of Education will be asked to award the bids for MES and MMS at a Special Board Meeting on April 4, 2005 at 7PM in the MHS Media Center. The Board of Education will be asked to award the bids for MHS at the regularly scheduled meeting on April 11, 2005. Site Work at MES and MMS The site work at MES and MMS is underway. The concrete piers are due to be completed at MES on March 18, 2005 and the building pad is scheduled for completion on April 1, 2005. The MMS building pad is also scheduled for completion on April 1, 2005 Construction Start Dates Construction is set to begin at MES and MMS on April 11, 2005. Construction will begin at MHS on June 13, 2005. Community Meeting The next community meeting will be scheduled for mid-April so we can update the community on the outcome of the bidding process and the construction schedule. Paul W.
