Project EXCEL at the College of Mount St. Joseph is celebrating its 25th Anniversary of service to students. The Mount is proud of Project EXCEL and the strong retention-to-graduation rate for the students who participate in the program. Students in Project EXCEL stretch their horizons and discover who they are through their academic studies, involvement in campus life and opportunities for career education and experiential learning.
In celebration Project EXCEL is co-sponsoring with the Admission Office two events for students, parents and educators.
Saturday, October 6th - Successful Transitions @ 10:30 am; session is part of the Mount's Get Acquainted Day - an open campus event beginning at 10:00 am which includes an academic fair, admission and financial aid information sessions and an invitation to attend a Mount Lion's football game. Successful Transitions will feature a panel and breakout session presented by professional educators, current college students and graduates of the Mount active in Project EXCEL who are now engaged in a broad range of careers.

Tuesday, October 23rd - Prepare Early - Prepare Well @ 7:00 pm in the Mount Theater Lobby - our ninth annual college search educational program. The program is designed to provide information appropriate to college-bound students who are considering seeking academic access accommodations at the college level. The program topics are applicable to colleges and universities and will include admission/application, academic support models and the students' point of view.
